Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez is reportedly looking for a move to Manchester United, having fallen out of favour at the Bernabeu this season.

Spanish transfer rumour website Don Balon has said that Rodriguez is desperate to reunite with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Columbian international Rodriguez, 26, joined Real in 2014 for £63 million, but has not been a regular under Zinedine Zidane this season – making just 17 appearances in La Liga – although he did score in last weekend’s El Classico.

Other Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are said to be interested in signing Rodriguez, but he has apparently set his heart on a move to the red half of Manchester.

This is the latest high-profile rumour involving Manchester United – there has been constant speculation that the club want to sign Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann as well. It could be a busy – an expensive – summer in Manchester…
