Summary. Joerns donated a laser cutting machine to Millennium Laser to support the production of face visors for the NHS. Millennium Laser aims to create over 12,000 visors, greatly aided by the provided machine.

During the current pandemic, face visors have become a much needed source of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). These visors serve as a critical barrier, protecting healthcare workers and others from potential virus transmission. Their widespread use has been instrumental in ensuring the safety and well-being of frontline staff during these challenging times.

Joerns is proud to confirm, it has donated an old laser cutting machine to Millennium Laser. They are extremely busy making face visors for the NHS.

Millennium Laser Manufacturing PPE

Millennium Laser are manufacturing the visors on a free-issue basis, at their own expense. Materials are in the main, being provided free of charge through a combination of key suppliers and Swansea City Council.

They hope and expect to make over 12,000 face visors in the initial process run which amounts to over 36,000 laser cut parts. This huge task will be well supported with the use of our laser machine!
